VIRTUAL Speaker

Join us VIRTUALLY for a speaker, brought to you by the PTA.

Molly Cevasco, PhD is a child psychologist in private practice specializing in Autism and other forms of Neurodiversity. Save the date for her talk at our Spring PTA meeting:

“Neurodiversity: What You Need to Know to Support Your Child and Community”
Thursday 5/9, 7-8pm, virtually

For most parents, the concept of neurodiversity is new and can be confusing. In this talk, Dr. Cevasco will present on the important concept that all brains learn and behave differently. When we understand our own needs and those of our children, we are better able to support their academic and social growth. As an added bonus, understanding neurodiversity can help parents create and maintain a safe and welcoming world not just for their children, but also for other children, adults, and the broader community. Dr. Cevasco will explain the unique ways that people learn and interact with the world around them, as well as providing specific strategies for parents to use to learn about themselves and their children.
